UK Motorway Speed limit to rise.

Motorway Under new plans from the Government Transport Department Motorway speed limits are set to rise from 70mph to 80 mph. I personally think this is a good thing as the old speed limit is out dated, in fact I think it should be nearer 100mph.

parts Its a common belief that Dealer Parts cost more than Factor parts. Well in some cases that is and has been true but don’t take it for granted.

Jeep Cherokee O2 Sensor issue

Jeep Well this one threw me I have to say! Jeep Cherokee 2.4 petrol came in with the Engine Management light on.

Code reader came up with code P0133 which relates to O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. Tested readings from sensor which were all ok. A brief check over revealed no issues, so suspecting just a “spike” in the system I cleared the code and road tested, all OK.

Finding a decent Garage

So you want to Service or repair your car, you don’t want to or cant do it yourself so where do you take it?

Of course recommendation is always the best way to find a Garage that is honest, reliable, reasonably priced and has a good standard of workmanship. If you cant get a good recommendation it can be just pot luck. As with all businesses any Garage can set up a very convincing “Shop Front” by way of a web site or fancy premises. But its what goes on at the dirty end, the Workshop, that’s what really counts.
